Individual differences in personality and their contribution to differences in health

Our lab research is guided by our interest in how biological and psychological variations contribute to social behavior evolution. The dynamics of social living are governed by processes that vary from individual to individual, and a deep understanding of this variability is crucial to understanding how they work. Genetic, environmental, and developmental causes that drive interindividual variation in behavior and the evolutionary consequences of these variations help us understand the dynamics of cooperation and conflict that characterize social life.
